What is OurDream AI?

OurDream AI is an adults-only AI character platform where you chat with community-made or custom characters and generate images, videos and voice calls with them. Its terms name Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation with a mailing address in Dover, Delaware, as the operator. Some policies also name two related entities, Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd.

The service runs in a browser at ourdream.ai or ourdream.io, with one account across both. The help center says there is no standalone mobile app and suggests adding the site to your home screen. The company’s marketing claims more than 50 million users; we couldn’t verify that figure.

How much does OurDream AI cost?

OurDream AI Premium costs $19.99 a month, or $119.88 a year (shown as $9.99 a month), according to its help center article edited July 17, 2026. A Deluxe tier costs $59.99 a month or $359.88 a year on OurDream’s upgrade page. Premium includes 1,000 dreamcoins a month and Deluxe 5,000. What can you do without paying?

You can create an account, chat with any character and build your own characters, but each chat message costs a dreamcoin and images and video are locked. You also can’t buy coins without a subscription. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

What do published reviews like about OurDream AI?

Image quality and character consistency across images are the strongest points, cited by four of the five reviews we read. Other recurring positives:

• Chat, images, video and voice under one subscription (AI Test Guide, StartupHub.ai).
• Standard chat doesn’t use coins for subscribers, which makes the yearly plan fair value (AI Test Guide, Shiftspawn).
• Roleplay and storytelling quality (Shiftspawn, Spiced AI).
• Nothing to install; it runs in any browser (AI Test Guide, Shiftspawn).

What do reviewers criticize?

Coins are the main complaint. Video and voice calls spend dreamcoins quickly, and AI Test Guide, Shiftspawn, StartupHub.ai and PlatformReviews.ai all warn that heavy media use can cost more than the plan itself.

• The free tier is thin and confusing (four of five reviews).
• Memory across sessions is inconsistent, and the reviews disagree on how well it holds up.
• Replies can slow down at busy times (Shiftspawn).
• The privacy policy allows AI training on user content (AI Test Guide).
• There is no native mobile app (Shiftspawn).

Shiftspawn also found that many “scam” claims about OurDream trace back to confusion over coins and the up-front $119.88 yearly charge, not to the service failing to deliver.

How good is OurDream AI’s memory?

OurDream says each chat keeps an automatic memory log, lets you pin memories that persist for the whole chat, and accepts custom instructions. Deluxe advertises three times the chat memory of Premium. How well this works in practice is disputed: Spiced AI found memory good within a story, while AI Test Guide and Shiftspawn report slips in long chats and between sessions.

What happens when you cancel OurDream AI?

Canceling stops future charges, and your plan runs to the end of the paid period, but your generated media is then blurred until you subscribe again. To cancel:

1. Open your profile page on ourdream.ai.
2. Select “Cancel subscription” and confirm.
3. Download any images or videos you want to keep before the period ends.

You can also cancel by emailing support@ourdream.ai. Canceling doesn’t trigger a refund, and OurDream’s two help articles disagree on whether unused coins survive.

Is OurDream AI safe?

OurDream AI is a registered US company with published policies, encryption claims and third-party age checks, but its privacy policy allows it to train its AI on your content, and outside AI providers process your messages.
