What is CrushOn AI?
CrushOn AI is a character chat site where you talk to characters made by its community, or build your own, and switch between AI models during a chat. Its terms name TECHIEPIE LTD, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus, with Hong Kong law governing, while the footer also lists a Dover, Delaware address. The site launched in mid-2023.
CrushOn runs in a web browser and can be saved to an iPhone home screen. In the US, its site offers Android users a direct APK download rather than a Google Play listing.
How much does CrushOn AI cost?
CrushOn AI’s paid plans start at $5.99 a month and climb to $199.99, mainly buying more message credits and longer memory. Official prices, read October 18, 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Message credits a month | Memory |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Not offered | 100 | 8K |
| Standard | $5.99 | $58.88 | 2,000 | 16K |
| Premium | $14.99 | $94.88 | 6,000 | 16K |
| Luxe | $39.99 | $299.99 | 20,000 | 16K |
| Elite | $89.99 | $799.99 | 55,000 | 24K |
| Imperial | $199.99 | $1,799.99 | 125,000 | 24K |
Higher plans also allow longer replies, more chats per character and more custom voices. A separate Pro Models Chat Package costs $39.99 a month for unlimited chats on Pro models without spending credits. The yearly “was” prices on the page don’t always equal 12 months of the monthly price, so the listed savings are partly overstated.
How do CrushOn AI’s message credits work?
Message credits pay for CrushOn’s stronger Pro and Ultra models, while its free models are unlimited on every plan. The rules, from CrushOn’s own credit notes:
- Your message and the AI’s reply both use credits.
- Regenerating or continuing a reply costs 2 times the credits, and so does each character’s message in a group chat.
- Each model shows its own multiplier before you use it.
- Monthly credits reset on the renewal date and don’t roll over. Purchased and daily check-in credits never expire.
When credits run out, chat falls back to a free model with less memory. Credit-pack prices are shown only after login.
Is CrushOn AI free?
Yes, with limits. The free plan includes unlimited chats on free models, 100 monthly credits for Pro models, 8K memory and voice messages. Free chat history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity, Ultra models and group chats are paid-only, and free capacity can slow down at busy times.
How good is CrushOn AI’s memory?
CrushOn AI’s memory is its weakest point, according to reviewers. Officially, plans range from 8K of context on Free to 24K on Elite and Imperial, with pinned memories, automatic summaries saved as long-term memory, and World Cards for setting details. AI Test Guide found recall became unreliable after roughly 80 to 100 messages, and Bonza.Chat reports drift even on top plans.
What do published reviews say about CrushOn AI?
Reviewers generally rate CrushOn well for roleplay variety and poorly for memory and pricing. VirtualAIpartner praises model switching and deep character creation, and Top AI Girlfriend credits its long-form roleplay. AI Test Guide rates it highly for creative roleplay.
The recurring criticisms:
- Character quality depends on the creator, and weak characters turn generic quickly (VirtualAIpartner, Top AI Girlfriend).
- The credit system and top tiers are complicated and expensive (VirtualAIpartner, Top AI Girlfriend).
- Support runs mainly through Discord (Bonza.Chat, a competing app).
Trustpilot showed 1.8 out of 5 from 22 reviews on October 18, 2026, an unclaimed profile, with complaints about the age-check payment, content refusals and billing.
Is CrushOn AI safe?
CrushOn AI has added stronger age checks, but its privacy terms are weak and its operator details don’t line up. What its pages and outside sources say:
- Age: 18 or older. To unlock adult settings, the site offers a $0.99 card payment, or a free selfie or ID check through Didit or AgeGo, and says it doesn’t keep the photo or ID. Which regions get which option couldn’t be confirmed.
- Training: the privacy policy says chats and character creations may be used to train AI models. No opt-out is described.
- Conflicting claims: CrushOn’s marketing site says chats are encrypted and never used for training, which contradicts the privacy policy it links to.
- Ads: the policy allows ad SDKs on mobile and Google remarketing on the web.
- Lookalikes: a Google Play tips app uses the CrushOn name, and lookalike domains publish install pages and reviews. Use crushon.ai only.
Mozilla gave CrushOn a privacy warning label in February 2024. A 2025 federal cyberstalking case involved a man who built impersonating chatbots on CrushOn and Janitor AI; the case was against him, not the company.
How do you cancel CrushOn AI?
You cancel a web subscription from your profile before the next billing date, and access continues to the end of the cycle. The steps, from CrushOn’s terms and help text:
- Open your Profile and select My Subscription.
- Choose Manage, then Cancel Subscription.
- Cancel purchases made through SubscribeStar, Paymentwall or an app store on that service instead.
Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires, with no partial refunds for unused time. Credits and Diamonds are final sales.

Frequently asked questions
- How trustworthy is CrushOn AI?
- CrushOn AI is mixed on trust. Its terms name a Cyprus company under Hong Kong law while its privacy policy says it operates in the United States, Mozilla gave it a privacy warning label in 2024, and Trustpilot showed 1.8 out of 5. No data breach or regulator action against its operator turned up as of October 18, 2026.
- What are message credits in CrushOn?
- Message credits are CrushOn's monthly allowance for its Pro and Ultra models: 100 on Free, 2,000 on Standard, up to 125,000 on Imperial. Both your message and the reply count, regenerating a reply costs double, and unused monthly credits don't roll over. When they run out, chat falls back to a free model.
- Which CrushOn AI model is the best?
- CrushOn doesn't name a best model, and the full list needs an account. A RoboRhythms guide updated September 2026 picks Classical Beta for consistency, DeepSeek V4 Flash for value and an Ultra Gemini model for long memory. Ultra models cost more credits per message and aren't available on the free plan.
