What is Secrets AI?

Secrets AI is an adults-only companion site where you chat with premade or custom characters and generate images, video clips and voice calls inside the conversation. It is run by Secret Labs Inc., which lists an address in Dover, Delaware, and its terms are governed by the law of British Columbia, Canada. Archived copies of the site place its launch in late 2024.

It runs in a web browser and can be installed to a phone’s home screen. The site ships updates often: its changelog lists 15 dated releases between October 1 and October 16, 2026.

How much does Secrets AI cost?

The 3- and 6-month prices aren’t shown to logged-out visitors; they come from the store’s built-in price list and match a September 2026 review. The store shows crossed-out “standard” prices of $39.99 and $79.99 beside the plans, so its percentage-off labels overstate the saving against the real monthly price. When a sale discounts the first billing period, the plan renews at the regular price.

Ultimate adds group chats of 2 or 3 companions, personas, proactive messages, a faster model and the strongest memory tier. Lite ($5.99) and Plus ($9.99) plans have been retired, and remaining members are being moved to Premium pricing.

What do Moments buy on Secrets AI?

Moments pay for everything beyond text chat, at fixed rates published in the help wiki:

So Premium’s 8,000 monthly Moments cover about 160 standard images or 160 call minutes, or about 13 adult-mode clips. Monthly grants don’t roll over, while purchased Moments never expire. Packs start at $9.99 for 3,000, and only subscribers can buy them. A generation that fails after starting is refunded in Moments automatically.

Is Secrets AI free?

Yes, with limits. A free account gets 20 messages a day, tied to the device so extra accounts don’t reset it, plus basic memory, 500-character messages and 200 bonus Moments at sign-up. Free users can’t buy Moments, and custom characters stop at 100 messages in total. The official pages disagree on which Moment features work on Free, and there is no free trial of the paid plans.

How does Secrets AI’s memory work?

Secrets AI saves facts you share automatically, ranks them by importance, and searches them before each reply in a “Smart Mode” that is on by default. You can view memories and ask the companion to add or correct one. Paid plans read more of them: Premium accesses 4 times as many memories as Free and Ultimate 6 times. Premium and Ultimate also get Lorebooks, editable notes on cast, world and relationship that the companion draws on.

What do published reviews say about Secrets AI?

Reviewers mostly like the conversation and the media. ChatbotDating calls it a strong pick for adults who want images and video, and CompanionRater rates its image and video quality and conversation highly. The Best AI Girlfriend praises stable conversation and warm voices.

The recurring criticisms:

Is Secrets AI safe?

Secrets AI is a registered company with no reported data breach, but its privacy statements don’t line up and its age check is light. What its pages say:

• Age: 18 or older. An age gate asks you to confirm your age, and the underage policy adds AI monitoring for signs of minors and verification on request. Standard use needs only an email address.
• Training: the privacy policy says user information is used to train and improve its AI models, and no opt-out is described.
• Encryption: the homepage says conversations are end-to-end encrypted, but the privacy policy and store FAQ describe only encryption at rest and in transit. Several reviews mention a “Private Mode” that no official page describes.
• Data sale: the policy says Secrets doesn’t sell personal information.
• Deletion: chat history is deleted when you delete the account; transaction records are kept for 7 years.

Secret Labs was not among the seven companies in the FTC’s September 2025 inquiry into companion chatbots, and no regulator action or lawsuit naming it turned up as of October 18, 2026.

How do you cancel Secrets AI?

You cancel in your account settings, and access continues to the end of the paid period before the account drops to Free. The steps, from the help wiki:

1. Open Settings and choose Manage Subscription.
2. Select Cancel Subscription and answer the short reason prompt.
3. Check for the confirmation email before your renewal date.

You can also cancel by emailing support or through the payment processor on your receipt. Partial periods, Moments and all crypto payments aren’t refunded. Billing errors reported within 30 days are corrected, and EU and UK users get a 14-day withdrawal right on a first purchase.
