AI Angels review: plans, credits, memory and safety

What is AI Angels?

AI Angels is an adults-only companion site where you chat with AI-generated women, ask them for photos and voice notes, and call some of them live. It is run by AiAppDevelopment OÜ, an Estonian company in Tallinn, according to its terms and privacy policy. The Estonian business register shows that company entered on September 16, 2026, and the aiangels.io domain was registered in July 2025.

It runs in a browser and can be saved to a phone’s home screen as a web app. There is no native iPhone or Android app. The library holds 540+ ready-made characters, all female, plus a character creator. Characters reply in the language you write in, but menus and buttons stay in English.

What was AI Angels like when we tried it?

We chatted with Sierra, one of the catalog characters, on a free account on October 27, 2026. What we saw:

• Speed: every reply arrived within a few seconds, often split into two or three short texts.
• Tone: casual, lower-case texting that stayed in character and picked up details from our messages.
• Memory: asked four messages later, it recalled our name, our dog’s name and where we’d been hiking.
• Upselling: when we asked what kind of photos she takes, it treated that as a photo request and sent a blurred photo costing 50 credits to unlock, with lines like “took this right now while we were talking”. It corrected course once we clarified.
• Credits: five messages cost 3 of the 100 starter credits.

Character profiles open on large photo galleries, some locked, and the adult content is explicit. We didn’t unlock media, make a call or buy a plan, so the media and cancel details below come from AI Angels’ own pages.

How much does AI Angels cost?

AI Angels’ Private plan costs $12.99 a month and All Yours costs $39.99, and both add a monthly credit balance for media. Prices from the official checkout, read October 27, 2026:

Both paid plans unlock unlimited messages on every character, subject to fair use. Extra credits come in one-time packs that never expire: 1,000 for $9.99, 2,240 for $19.99, 4,750 for $39.99 and 6,300 for $49.99, per AI Angels’ pricing summary.

The checkout shows no yearly card plan. AI Angels’ how-it-works page says yearly billing is discounted, and an older pricing summary lists 3- and 6-month plans, but neither option appeared at checkout. Prices also appear to change often: one review from September quoted Private at $14.99.

What do AI Angels credits buy?

Credits pay for every kind of media, on every plan. The official costs:

At Private’s price, that is roughly 43 cents a photo or a call minute and $1.73 a video. Calls charge each minute as it starts, so a 70-second call costs 100 credits, and the first minute is taken when the call connects. Photos arrive blurred until you pay to unlock them. On a free account, messages to characters without the FREE badge also cost 1 credit each.

Is AI Angels free?

For text chat, mostly yes. Guests can send 10 messages a day with no account, shared across characters and reset at midnight UTC. A free account chats without credits on characters marked FREE (up to 500 messages a day as a fair-use ceiling) and pays 1 credit per message elsewhere.

There are no free photos, voice notes or call seconds. A free account’s 100 starter credits cover about two photos, or two minutes of calling.

In our free-account chat with a character without the FREE badge, five messages took the balance from 100 credits to 97.

How does AI Angels’ memory work?

AI Angels publishes unusually specific memory limits, and memory is the same on free and paid accounts once you sign in. Each character uses three layers:

• Recent messages: the last 50 messages in your chat, yours and hers, are read with every reply.
• Saved facts: up to 500 facts about you per character, with around 30 pulled into each reply.
• Session summary: after a break of more than 30 minutes, she gets a short summary of your previous session only.

Guests get no saved memory. There is no screen to view or edit saved facts, so corrections happen in chat, and AI Angels says an old fact can occasionally linger beside a new one. Memory isn’t shared between characters.

In our short test, we gave a name, a pet’s name and a recent trip in the first message. Four messages later, the character recalled all three correctly when asked. We didn’t test recall across sessions or past the 50-message window.

What features does AI Angels have besides chat?

AI Angels adds voice, photos, short video and a character creator, each paid in credits:

• Voice calls: live and voice-only, for signed-in users, and only with characters showing a green phone icon. There are no video calls.
• Voice notes: sent only by the same phone-icon characters. You can’t pick or change a voice, and characters you create have no voice, so they can’t take calls.
• Video: some characters send ready-made clips in chat. New videos are made in the character creator.
• Character creator: you set age (from 18), body, hair, origin, outfit or scene, style, personality type, intimacy level, texting style, interests and occupation.
• Group chat: two published reviews describe chats with two companions at once.

When we opened the in-chat request menu on October 27, 2026, a photo cost 50 credits and video requests (200 credits) were marked “Coming soon”.

Where do AI Angels’ own pages disagree?

AI Angels publishes a lot of detail, but its pages don’t always match its checkout. Where they differ, we use the checkout figures. The main conflicts on October 27, 2026:

• Monthly credits: the checkout lists 1,500 on Private and 4,500 on All Yours. The about, how-it-works and memory pages say 1,200 and 3,600.
• Free messages: the FAQ says a free account has no daily cap. The pricing summary says 30 messages a day.
• Credit packs: the FAQ lists packs of 500, 1,500, 3,000 and 6,000 credits. The pricing summary lists 1,000, 2,240, 4,750 and 6,300.
• Privacy: a features page claims encrypted storage, no training on your chats and age verification for adult features. The privacy policy only promises encryption “where appropriate”, says nothing about training, and the safety page calls the age check self-declared.

What do published reviews say about AI Angels?

Reviewers mostly rate AI Angels well for memory and voice calls, and poorly for reply speed and media reliability. Several say AI Angels supplied their paid account.

• RankDude, on an account from AI Angels, found strong recall of names and details and natural voice calls, but slow text replies of about 3.5 seconds, off-model free images and a voice note that never arrived.
• AI Porn Expert, on a comped Premium account, reports good memory and consistent faces in photos, but says typed photo requests were ignored and still charged 50 credits, and in-chat video showed as “coming soon”.
• AI Girlfriend Chats, without a paid plan, praises the published media prices and the Diamond package, and criticizes credit-priced media and contradictory pages.
• AI Companion Blog, after a month of Premium, likes the character library and two-companion group chat but finds customization shallow.
• The AI Porn List says marketing pages promise more “unlimited” use than plans include, since photos, video and calls all draw on credits.

Is AI Angels safe?

AI Angels names its operator and publishes more about memory and crisis handling than most rivals, but its age check is self-declared and its privacy policy is thin. What its pages say:

• Age: 18 or older. The homepage has a click-through age gate, and signed-in users enter a date of birth. Neither is an ID or selfie check, and AI Angels’ safety page notes the gate appears only on the homepage.
• Chats: signed-in chats are stored with your account, and chats are moderated by automated tools with human review of flagged content, so staff may see them.
• Photos: photos you request from a catalog character can appear on that character’s public profile, and deleting your account doesn’t remove them.
• Training: the privacy policy doesn’t say whether chats train AI models. A marketing page says they don’t. Couldn’t confirm.
• Tracking: the homepage loads Google Analytics, and there is a cookie settings link. The policy says data isn’t sold or rented.
• Crisis support: messages are checked for signs of self-harm in six languages. If found, the app shows crisis helplines, and the companion doesn’t message first for 7 days.
• Deleting data: deleting one chat removes its messages but not the facts saved about you. Deleting your account removes chats, saved facts, created characters and credits. No retention period is stated.
• Content rules: the terms ban any depiction of minors, non-consensual content, incest and bestiality, among other categories.

No data breach, regulator action or lawsuit naming AI Angels or AiAppDevelopment OÜ turned up as of October 27, 2026.

How do you cancel AI Angels?

You cancel a card subscription from your Account page, and access continues until the end of the period you paid for. The steps, from AI Angels’ FAQ:

1. Open your Account page.
2. Go to Subscription and choose Cancel subscription.
3. Check the confirmation. Crypto payments and the Diamond package never renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

Card charges show discreetly as VTSUP.COM, through the payment processor Verotel, which also handles billing questions. Refunds are narrow: a request must be made within 24 hours of payment, nothing is refunded once credits or plan benefits are used, and only card-paid subscriptions qualify. EU and UK users have a 14-day withdrawal right, which may be lost once the service is used.

How does AI Angels compare with Candy AI and OurDream AI?

AI Angels is the cheapest of the three month to month and gives more call minutes for the money, but it is not the cheapest for images or for a yearly commitment. Our arithmetic from each app’s official prices, read October 18 to 27, 2026:
